I first visited Como Park Zoo & Conservatory on one of my earliest trips to St. Paul and was completely enthralled by the historic conservatory. Did you know it first opened in 1915? Since then, thousands upon thousands of people have walked these rooms and admired the life collected within. It's truly the perfect spot to refresh one's soul on a January day in Minnesota. This place is a gem.
To capture a wedding at this Twin Cities landmark has been on my photography bucket list for years. When Sara, one of my husband's college classmates, reached out with visions of an early June wedding at Como, my response, and I quote, was "that would be a DREAM."
And Sara and Alex's day truly was. It was a sun-soaked evening. The gardens in full bloom. Sara's godparents officiated their beautiful outdoor ceremony. What a fantastic way to start their forever together and say goodbye-for-now to their home in Minnesota. After their big day on June 8th, these two dentists immediately headed west for Sara to start her pediatric dentistry residency. What a whirlwind!
Congratulations to the Drs. Boson!
