Family photos shouldn't have to feel stiff and awkward. I have yet to meet a two year old who phases me, and I will absolutely balance dinosaur toys on my head and ask to see who can jump the highest. Bring your dogs, your wiggles, and your favorite snacks - this is going to be fun. Promise.
"As We Are" Sessions
For seasons when sitting still and smiling at the camera doesn't feel right. I'll come to you and spend an hour hanging out in your world, letting your kids be themselves, and capturing the joy and chaos of this era of your family. Dogs, kitties, crafts, and favorite stuffies welcome.

These sessions have less direction than Classic Sessions and we wont be focused on getting traditional portraits.

Classic Portrait Sessions
These sessions are typically outdoors and within an hour or two of sunset for that gorgeous glowy light. You'll get more "smiling at the camera" shots and can create a list beforehand of groupings that are important to you. We'll still have time for candids and a bit of fun, but I'll be directing the chaos.

Extended Family Sessions
Bring the whole family! These sessions have time for full group portraits as well as break-outs with individual families, grandkids, and more! We'll be working off a list and you'll get a solid set of classic portraits of the extended family - perfect for your gallery walls and the BEST gift for Grandma.

Mini Sessions
The next set of minis will be spring of 2025! I offer mini sessions at least twice a year in the Spring and Fall. Minis are perfect for kiddos with short attention spans, announcement photos, celebrating milestones, and getting a few classic "smiling at the camera" shots for your christmas cards.

Turnaround time for portrait sessions is within 3 weeks of your session. You'll receive your beautiful, professionally edited, high resolution photos via email in a digital gallery. From there you can download, print, and share!
Nope! The cost of your session includes ALL the good photos and unlimited digital downloads - I never upsell and the cost of your session is all you will pay.
Yes! I'm a huge dog person and have three myself. If you decide to bring your dog (or dogs) to your session, I recommend you ask a friend to come along to hang out with them while they're not in photos. That way the pups can have a fun time too!
The most important thing is that you feel good in your photos. When you book a portrait session I'll send you my style guide, which has pointers on how to select outfits for your family, how to choose pieces that look flattering on camera, and how to show up to your session prepared to have a great time!
I don't offer classic, studio-style newborn sessions, but if something more laid-back sounds right for you, an "As We Are" session at home is the perfect thing for the week you bring your newest family member home. Reach out about availability around your due date - there are some season's where my calendar is much more flexible than others.
As a natural light photographer, my most beautiful work happens outside. Most families opt to have their family photos taken May-October, when the weather is nicer. I currently do not offer studio family sessions, but LOVE capturing in home sessions during the chilly months.
